The legendary ship Arctic Sunrise is coming to Varna.
It's not every day that you can board one of the most iconic ships in the world. From the Arctic and Antarctica to the Amazon and Oceania - for more than 30 years, Arctic Sunrise has been on the front lines in protecting the oceans, climate, nature and local communities around the world.
After 13 years, the ship will once again dock in Varna.
On August 7 and 8, Arctic Sunrise will open its doors to visitors. Walk the deck, meet the international crew, get to know the Greenpeace Bulgaria team and learn all about our common fight for a living Black Sea without oil and gas.
The Black Sea is home to unique life, but today it is exposed to oil spills, oil and gas projects, fuel oil pollution and the consequences of war, the climate crisis, unsustainable tourism and fishing.
