One of Italy’s most prestigious orchestras is coming to Bulgaria for the first time. The Giuseppe Verdi di Salerno Philharmonic - the symphony orchestra of the renowned “Giuseppe Verdi” Theatre in Salerno - will perform concerts in six cities, including Varna.

• Program: Iconic works from the operatic and symphonic legacy of Giuseppe Verdi - music that has left a lasting mark on the history of classical music.
• Conductor: the world-renowned maestro and composer Guido Mancusi.
• Soloists: Italian singer Marco Di Sapia, with other talented performers to be announced.

The Giuseppe Verdi di Salerno Philharmonic was founded in 1997 and is the principal orchestra for all operatic productions at its theatre. Bulgarian artists from the Sofia and Varna Opera and Ballet companies also perform on the Salerno stage.
