The premiere performance of "Bulgare", "The Unknown Bulgarians" will be presented at the Varna Summer Theater on September 8. The performance is a natural continuation of the successful "This is Bulgaria" and "The Eighth Miracle" and is the final part of the trilogy dedicated to the Bulgarian spirit and traditions.
This time, the audience will immerse themselves in unknown ethnographic regions of the country, will meet their authentic music, dances, songs, dialects and clothing and will discover new pages of our rich folk psychology. For the first time in the history of the ensemble, not only the founder and artistic director Hristo Iv. Dimitrov, but also soloists from the troupe will participate in the creation of the choreography. The music is the work of acad. prof. Milcho Vassilev, Dimitar Hristov, Kostadin Genchev, Dancho Radulov and Dr. Petyo Krastev, and the overall sound design is once again entrusted to Ivan Kirishev. “The Unknown Bulgarians” promises to be an unforgettable experience – an emotional journey through the beauty and richness of Bulgarian folklore, which will make the audience proud of their roots.
