It is a short biking route in the vicinities of Vinitsa suburb in Varna. The route is suitable for everyone who loves nice trails and for those who seek short and fast bike riding for an hour or two. It includes two trails that are not that popular among the hikers so one could ride with limited “traffic”. The first trail is hidden and very narrow – the terrain is not difficult but its narrow width could trip you up at some spots and sections. The second trails goes above the Vinitsa horse riding center and offers adrenalin as it is fast but there are also some technical sections. Going uphill is along asphalt road most of the time – the first climb is smooth and easy, the second one is very steep and riders would have to ride harder.
Simply explained the routes goes like in the shape of the digit 8, at first bikers are riding uphill, then they go down towards Dabravata villa area, then going up the hill again towards Lozite villa area and from there going down above Vinitsa riding center. The route is suitable for all year round biking, including summer as its little distance makes it possible to start the route in the cooler morning or late afternoon hours of the day.

This particular point has been chosen as there is a parking nearby and biker could start from there but in fact one could start from every other spot along the main street in Vinitsa suburb.

Description:
From the starting point in Vinitsa suburb we go along the main Vinitsa street “Tsar Boris III” Str. to the Northeast. One could use the cycle lane along the street. At the end of Vinitsa suburb we continue going along the road towards Aladzha monastery and Golden Sands resort. In point 2 the road makes sharp U turn – this place is known as the tire turn because of the frequent whistling/slipping of car tires. If you look to the left in the woods you would see an interesting monument, a little replica of the monument of freedom Shipka. We continue along the road, passing by the paths to the right at point 3 and passing by the path to the left at point 4.
In point 5 (3.0km) there is a narrow path in the forest – we take this path and go along it. The trail will lead us to the vicinity of another villa area (point 6) where along another path to the left we start biking on an unpaved road (point 7) and we are slightly descending along it.
In point 8 (4.4km) we reach a junction. To the left is the main tourist trail leading to Aladzha monastery, there is a unsurfaced road ahead but we must turn sharply right along a red marked tourist trail which is going steeply down to the Dabravata villa area. After 200m (point 9) we turn right into the main street through the villa area, which is a wide and well-trodden unpaved road. We continue riding along it to point 3 (6.0km) where we reach the road leading from Vinitsa to Golden Sands resort and we go to the right along it again. But this time in point 4 when we reach the entrance of the Sever 2 cemetry we go to the left and up along steep asphalt road. It is leading us to the plateau near Lozite villa are and on the junction in point 10 we continue straight ahead and along a cracked asphalt road we enter the villa area.
In point 11 (7.2) there is very important intersection! We turn on unpaved road up passing by several houses. After 200m the road goes into a path (point 12). Local children started making jumps along it. After 100m (point 13) we are turning sharply to the left along a path. It is steep at the beginning but the slope is getting smaller very fast. There are a lot of intersections but we keep to the left. The largest intersection is at point 14 (8.4km). As a whole it is not very difficult route but includes technical sections with rocks. After the middle the route turns into a speed-fast route but not very wide, so you need to be careful – there are rock at some spots and sections.
At the end of the path (point 15, 8.4km) we reach the asphalt road again and along it to the right we go back to Vinitsa suburb.
