Varna Airport (VAR) offers international flights to and from the Bulgarian Sea capital - Varna. 

The Central Bus Station in Varna is used exclusively for long-distance coach travel and regional transport. From here there are direct bus connections with all the main cities (Sofia, Plovdiv, Veliko Tarnovo, Burgas, Ruse) and on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast - Kavarna, Balchik, Albena, Byala, Obzor, Sunny Beach, Nessebar, Burgas and others.

Port of Varna EAD is operator of port facilities for public transport of national importance: Varna East Port Terminal (including Passenger Terminal) and Varna West Port Terminal. The Passenger Terminal is located at the north-east end of Varna East,  where it serves passenger and cruise ships, scientific vessels and pleasure boats.

The station is one of Bulgaria's oldest railway stations. Its present building was constructed between 1908 and 1925, when it was opened officially by Tsar Boris III. Actually Varna has had a railway station since 26 October 1866, when the Varna-Rousse railway line was inaugurated. The station was substantially renovated in 2004 and 2005.
