So pack your bags - towels, swimwear, and flip-flops - don’t forget the sunscreen, and choose your perfect beach for a holiday in Varna. After that, your vacation can truly begin.

The beach strip is 1.5km long and it is located between Golden Sands northern end and the resort’s yacht port. The nearby located fishing village and a campsite create special and unique atmosphere. The area is of typical wide beach strip but there are cliffs and underwater rocks as well.

Famous for its wide beach covered with fine golden sands which gave the name to the resort itself, Golden Sands beach stretches for more than 3.5 km, attracting thousands of guests each year. It extends from the yacht port in the north to Riviera holiday club in the south.

The sea shore located next to the magnificent park is one kilometer long and will fascinate you with picturesque secluded bays and refreshing sea breeze. The beach has long been appreciated for its perfect conditions and it is not surprising it was a state residence with limited access in the past.

It is a favourite place for holidaymakers seeking a quieter and relaxing break away from large and luxurious holiday resorts. The steep terrain and the steps leading to the beach are not an obstacle to those who came to enjoy the sun, the sea breeze and the salty sea water. 
Kabakum Beach

The wide beach strip of Kabakum (meaning crumbly sand) is over a kilometer long and stretches from Journalist hotel to the Sunny day resort pier. Apart from wide sand areas and crystal sea water here you will find a wide range of beach and water sports - volleyball, jet skiing, rubber ring riding, etc.

Sunny Day Resort Beach

Unforgettable place among unique nature - East facing sheltered bay, clean beach strip, pure water, long sunshine hours, and shallow sandy sea - this is Sunny day beach. The beach is a kilometer long and 20 to 80m wide and mostly visited by Sunny day resort’s guests but it is open to outside visitors as well.
St. St. Constantine and Helena beaches

St. St. Constantine and Helena beaches

The beach strip is 3.5km long and it is situated in immediate proximity to deciduous trees and healing mineral waters. Climate here is perfect for balneo- and climate therapy providing high humidity and iodine evaporation. Here the opportunity to change from sea to mineral water and vice versa is vital, and so unusual to other places.

The beaches of Evksinograd

There are four beaches on the territory of the state residence "Evksinograd". They are situated between Cape St. George to the north and the fishing village of “Trakata” to the south. Free access to the beaches is not allowed due to the special status of the territory. An exception is made only for holidaymakers in the hotel base and bungalows after prior approval. Visitors could look around the place again after prior request and approval.

Trakata Beach is a picturesque place, located almost within the city, in the shape of a bay with a coastline of approximately 200 m. It borders a small forest, shallow, calm waters and a small bay, which forms a tiny fishing port. The quiet beach with a small number of parking places can be reached easily by asphalt road, just by turning on the right from the main road Varna - Golden Sands.

The sandy strip of the emblematic Varna beach in the area of "Pochivka" has been decreasing more and more in recent years due to climatic influences. The sea element gradually prevails over the shore, but nevertheless the secluded and peaceful place for relaxation does not lose its appeal. The rocky place, the dense forests and the old stone blocks in the water, set for protection, create the atmosphere of the beach. The beach is about two kilometers long with small interruptions and stretches from the region of Trakata to the third pier (Treta buna).

The "Third Buna" beach is one of the northern city beaches popular due to its convenient access by car or bicycle, the convenient parking area, the possibility to rent beach equipment, as well as the number of restaurants nereby where you can get refreshing drinks.

"Second buna" Beach (Second pier)

The beach stretches from Third Pier to the north to "Ofitserski" Beach to the south and is located directly below the Varna zoo. It is also known by the name of a popular seaside venue in the area, recognisable by its distinctive exterior
"Ofitserski" Beach

"Ofitserski" Beach

“Ofitserski” beach (“Officer” beach), or the area around the First pier, borders "Second Buna" beach and “Ribarski” beach. The slope is descending smoothly towards the beach and you could sense the fresh air of The Sea garden. The alley here becomes more animated and you will find numerous bars, clubs and restaurants where you could get something to eat almost 24-hours a day. The beach strip is not that wide but well maintained and clean. Besides beach equipment you will be able to hire a water wheel. Fishing lovers enjoy the spot as well.
"Ribarski" northern beach

"Ribarski" northern beach

“Ribarski” northern beach (“Fisherman” beach) is situated on a smaller area starting from The First Pier and ending with the end of the pedestrian seaside alley. The beach is completed with coastal tatrapods fortification along the promenade. Benches are in place above and the lively restaurants street nearby offers variety for every taste.
Central Beach

Central Beach

The beach is located just beneath the The Sea Garden main entrance. It stretches for 500m to the “Ribarski” beach to the north. The strip offers fine sand, meters of shallow flat bottom and it is extremely popular because of its convenient location. Visitors could hire beach equipment - sunbeds, parasols, etc. Water attractions are available as well.
South Beach

South Beach

Over 600m long, The South beach is the most spacious and widest beach of all Varna city beaches. Stretching from the area beneath the Aquarium and the Astronomical observatory "Nicolaus Copernicus" to “Primorski” public pool, the beach invites with numerous water activities, sunbeds and parasols, beach sports and shallow calm sea.
Asparuhovo Beach

Asparuhovo Beach

One of the widest and most comfortable Varna beaches is the one in Asparuhovo suburb. It is situated along the way to Galata suburb. Over a kilometer long, wide over 100m in places, the beach is known for its extremely fine sand, shallow and calm waters and a panoramic view to the city of Varna. The beach strip begins from the sea-lake canal area and ends at “Karantinata” fishing port bordering “Karantinata” park.

"Romantika" Beach (Galata)

“The secret beach" of Varna beach is a beach facing north-east, not easily accessible and not as famous, that is why it is less visited. The beach is called “Romantika” (romantic place) for a reason. The place will astonish you with dense forest, rocks and a quiet, sheltered 500m long beach as well as a small pier for visitors approaching from the sea. 
Galata Beach

Galata Beach

Greenery, beach of coarse and clean sand, crystal waters, and a strip stretching over a kilometer - this is Galata beach.
Fichoza – Veteran Beach

Fichoza – Veteran Beach

The beach with a length of over 2 km stretches below the „Priboy“ area, after the „Galata“ district. Fichoza Beach is naturally limited by rocks and boulders. To the north it borders with Galata beach, and to the south with Chernomorets beach without a direct connection between them. The beach attracts with clear waters, diving spots, secluded areas between the rocks, as well as with a wide beach with restaurants and drinks, and a wonderful sea view. There is something for every taste.

The forest nearby, crystal waters and clear sands attract visitors seeking peace and quiet away from the city noise. The diving places, the sheltered spots among the rocks attract their admirers as well. Here you can frequently see sailing boats and motorboats sailing along the picturesque coast. 
"Pasha dere" Beach

"Pasha dere" Beach

“Pasha dere” is considered to be one of the most beautiful places along the Bulgarian Black sea coast because of its wild nature, clean beaches and the lack of urbanisation. It is the perfect place – quiet and isolated beach, favourite spot for those who seek wild beach experience. The beach strip is wide, over 4 kilometers long. The entire area called “Liman” is protected area guaranteeing that the sea water is clear and full of sea life. The liman (estuary) is situated above the beach’s southern part and it is covered with reeds and swamp plants.
