The joint exhibition of ikebana and haiga "Inspiration from old houses", part of the 35th Days of Japanese Culture in Bulgaria, can be seen in the Art Salon of Radio Varna
Official opening: September 9 (Monday), 6:00 pm and a special ikebana demonstration: 18:45 - 19:15.
Duration of exhibitions:
The exhibition is developed in two themes: in the context of the traditional Bulgarian way of life and in the context of the modern style. Association for ikebana "Kagetsu" will arrange compositions in which it will use dishes and other objects typical of the time of our ancestors, compositions that will accompany the photographs with haiku, prepared by the Bulgarian Haiku Union.
The other type of compositions in the modern style will accompany the modernist style of artistic images.
The haiga exhibition of the Bulgarian Haiku Union will include 45 pieces of author's works (photographs and drawings) with haiku of preserved old Bulgarian houses, their architectural elements and interiors, as well as uninhabited, crumbling houses that carry a public or personal (for the individual author) value.
