level 2 in Grand Mall, Varna
The 12th edition of the "Let's share Nikulden" Culinary Festival with a charity bazaar will be held at the Grand Mall again this year. On December 1st, from 11:30am to 3:00pm, on level 2 in the largest shopping center in Varna, schoolchildren, students and restaurateurs will set up their stands filled with culinary delights. The event is organized by the Varna Tourist Chamber with the support of the Municipality of Varna, the Bulgarian Association for Culinary Culture and the Grand Mall. The organizers aim with this festival to strengthen the link between training in tourism professions and practice and to help raise the image of the chef profession.
The culinary feast has a competitive element. The competition includes individual participants, teams of educational institutions, resort complexes and elite restaurants. They will demonstrate their professional culinary skills and talents by presenting their original dishes and specialties, and the guests and residents of Varna can buy and share them with their families, relatives and friends.
The noble initiative is welcomed by the vocational training schools which are teaching subject areas in "Hotel, restaurant and catering".
They believe that the public appearances of their graduates contribute to establishing the prestige of the Chef profession and to the motivation of future personnel for tourism. This opinion is also supported by the business, which in recent years has experienced an acute need for young specialists. Thus, the event becomes an expected meeting of business representatives with trained staff - future chefs. Culinary festival "Let's share Nikulden" is accompanied by a musical and artistic program, which makes it an expected celebration for the city. And the organizers hope that the guests of the event will once again respect the work of the enthusiastic participants.
