The European Children's Song Contest "Golden Sparks" is held annually in Varna and is organized by the Foundation "Discovery". The competition is a member of WAFA (World Association of Festival & Artists).
The festival includes an international song contest and an international contest for child singers.
New songs for children (soloists and vocal formations performed by children between the ages of six /6/ and fourteen /14/ years old), created up to one year prior to the date of the competition, are eligible to participate in the competition.
