Sea Garden Varna
This summer, Varna Sea Garden will be transformed into a spectacular outdoor scientific ecosystem, as the long-awaited interactive exhibition "Giant Insects" makes its premiere debut in the Sea Capital. This international exhibition will be located outdoors next to the Pantheon from June 1st to September 5th. The project is implemented by Coco Agency and the Bulgarian Children's Festival in close partnership with the Municipality of Varna and the Regional Administration - Varna, combining education, science and adventure, and firmly establishing Varna as a leading destination for family tourism.
Created by an international team of scientists from Bulgaria, China and the USA, the exhibition transforms the park into an incredible real biotope, allowing families to explore the microworld on a large scale. The exhibit features over 30 impressive, fully animated and highly realistic replicas of giant insects, serving as a vast open-air natural history museum that combines scientific accuracy with interactive fun. Visitors will come face to face with a series of exciting exhibits, including a 2-meter ladybug, an impressive 4-meter scorpion, a fearsome 3-meter spider and a fully functioning colony of red ants.
Opening hours:
June: Weekdays: 12:00 PM to 08:00 PM. Weekends: 12:00 PM to 08:00 PM.
July - August: Weekdays: 10:00 AM to 08:00 PM. Weekends: 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
The entrance fee provides all-day access, giving visitors the freedom to enter, exit and return to the exhibition grounds multiple times during the same day. Ticket prices are 10 euros for adults, 8 euros for children, students and pensioners, and children under 3 years old enter for free.
