The International Tournament "Petanque - Sea and SPA" is open to all licensed and unlicensed players. It will bring together over 240 players from 27 nationalities in 6 tournaments. 5 Bulgarian clubs will also participate in it. The technical co-organizer of the tournament will be the world influencer and freestyler Tanguy Penin.
Petanque is a French game with metal balls and in recent years with soft balls, which combines accuracy, strategy and social interaction. The game is popular in over 100 countries with more than 200 million players worldwide. It is played outdoors or indoors, with the goal being to throw the balls as close as possible to the small wooden target called "cochonnet" (piglet). The game is suitable for all ages, even for people with limited mobility. It develops balance, coordination and concentration.
