The City Art Gallery "Boris Georgiev" - Varna
A representative exhibition of Tsvetelina Maksimova will be shown from July 31
to August 20, 2026 at the City Art Gallery "Boris Georgiev" - Varna. The exhibition collects works mainly from the last
ten to fifteen years and outlines the direction in which the author's work is developing - from large-scale paintings to chamber
formats, objects and work with natural materials.
The exhibition is not intended as a retrospective and does not chronologically follow the creative path of Tsvetelina Maksimova. For it, the artist selects
works united by the abstract-lyrical spirit, which has increasingly clearly defined
her artistic language in recent years.
"I wouldn't want to cover my searches so extensively from the very beginning. Rather, I present works from the last ten to fifteen years. For me, it is curious to see these things together. My idea is to adhere to this abstract-lyrical spirit, which particularly excites me now. The exhibition is representative of the current direction of my art," shares Tsvetelina Maksimova.
