After the triumph of "Raymonda" in August 2021, choreographer Olga Pango and conductor Bisera Chadlovska present once more in Varna a fascinating story about love, honor, loyalty, and self-sacrifice. The Arab tale of the beautiful Zobeide, the wife of Sultan Shahriyar of Persia, who fell in love with her, and his brother, Shah Zaman, who is suspicious of her fidelity.

The story tells a German folk belief - on the night of April 30 to May 1, witches meet on top of a high inaccessible mountain and celebrate their annual holiday, gathering in a circle around Satan. Using rich musical language, the composer has created an unusually bright dance picture, which acquires an independent life as a one-act ballet on many world stages.
