An exhibition in memory of Ventseslav Antonov

Venceslav Antonov devoted decades of his life to graphic art - as an artist and as an organizer of  Varna Biennale of Graphics. Antonov has been its director since 1997 and for decades has defended the existence of this high professional forum.

He is the winner of the Varna Award in the category "Fine Arts" (2003), of the Grand Prize "Varna" for overall creativity (2017), and is honored with an honorary plaque from the Ministry of Culture for achievements in the arts and the Grand Prix of the OSTE Foundation for Painting (2017).

The exhibition will be held from 01.10.2025 to 25.10.2025 at the Graphite Gallery with the assistance of the gallery team. Over 50 works from his diverse oeuvre will be arranged, and modern technology will be used to project his image in action to make the memory of him even brighter.

The exhibition is held with the support of Varna Municipality and the Culture Fund.
