Hotel Hugo is situated in the heart of Varna - the central city area in very close proximity to the Sea Garden, just a few minutes away the beach promenade while located in a quiet and secluded street in Varna's oldest and most prestigious neighbourhood - Greek neighbourhood.
Hotel Hugo opens its doors in 2001. Initially it's a part of the well known at the time local hotel chain 'City Planet', when in 2007 makes the transition to become a part of ''the worlds largest hotel chain'' - Best Western and long since then was known under the name Best Western Prima.
The hotel starts its new life in July of 2018, when, after a complete 4 month long makeover open its doors with a fully renovated and modernised facilities, a new name and a brand new identity.
The name "Hugo" comes the Scandinavian word 'Hygge', which is a Danish and Norwegian word for a mood of coziness and comfort conviviality with feelings of wellness and contentment. Its an overall philosophy of life, centered around the daily pursuit and discovery of joy in the little things in life.
