Shturche is the first children’s theatre studio in the city of Varna, founded by the brothers Rayko and Danail Raykov. In the beginning, the theatre was located in the House of Transport. The theatre existed 1959 to 1999. At the beginning of 2006, former students of the Raykov brothers restored Shturche.
With their own funds and personal effort, they created a new theatre hall with 100 seats, equipped with professional sound and lighting equipment. Today, the young “crickets” are led by the actor Hristo Kolev (Bate Itso).
