If you ever wanted to go amidst nature may be these walking trails will be perfect for your needs. Not far from Varna, in a nature park, you will find a gateway packed with beautiful sceneries.
"Zlatni Pyasatsi" Nature Park is the smallest park in Bulgaria situated some 20km north of Varna. There are several marked walking trails there. Along the trails there are picnic areas with benches, tables and fireplaces situated near old drinking water fountains. Many of those places offer panoramic views to the sea, the park and the nearby “Golden Sands” resort .

Red Trail
Route: Vinitsa – Kovshak Fountain – Aladzha Monastery Fountain – 1300 years Bulgaria Fountain – Korabostroitel Hut – Sveti Sedmochislenitsi Fountain – Bezhanata – Kranevo village
Duration: 270 min
This the longest marked trail in the Nature Park. It starts at the last stop of the bus № 31 in Vinitsa quarter in Varna. Following the trail, you will reach one of the most visited places in the park – “Kovshak cheshma” (fountain Kovshak). In the meadows of the area there are well-arranged picnic and rest areas – benches, alcoves and fire places. The path passes by Aladzha fountain, then it continues nearby Aladzha Hut and a paved alley leads down to “1300 years Bulgaria” fountain. In the yard of the “Korabostroitel” Hut “Kaliova Cheshma” fountain, an alcove and rest places are situated. From the fountain “Sveti Sedmochislenitsi” there is panoramic view to the sea, over the trees tops.
Blue Trail
Route: Aladzha Monastery Fountain – 1300 years Bulgaria Fountain – Korabostroitel Hut – Yordan Minkov Fountain – Gorski kut – Management Golden Sands Resort
Duration: 80 min
This the shortest tourist trail in the Zlatni Pyasatsi Nature Park. The route starts at the fountain near Aladzha Monastery and follows an old paved alley connecting the Monastery with the Resort. From “1300 years Bulgaria” fountain there is a wonderful panoramic view to the Park, the resort and the sea. Nearby there are alcove and fire place. In front of “Korabostroitel” Hut there is a fountain – “Kalyova cheshma” and a few rest places. The area of the fountain “Yordan Minkov” and “Gorski Kat” restaurant is famous for its rich bird diversity and thick shadows in the summer.
Yellow Trail
Route: Aladzha Monastery Fountain – Aladzha Hut – Sveti Sedmochislenitsi Fountain – Gorski kut – Management Golden Sands Resort
Duration: 90 min
The yellow trail starts at the Aladzha Monastery. It goes along “Alaja” Hut and follows a path underneath the stone wreath of the Frangensko Plateau. Few meters away from the trail the fountain of the veteran tourists is situated. Just in front of “Sveti Sedmochislenici” fountain opens a panoramic view to the sea, above the tree tops. The trail goes down to “Gorski Kat” restaurant and ends in the “Golden Sands” resort.
Green Trail
Route: Aladzha Monastery Fountain – Aladzha Hut – Perchemliyata – Bezhanata – Panorama Villa zone – “Panorama” Bus stop
Duration: 150 min
The Green route starts at Aladzha Monastery, goes along the “Aladzha” Hut and follows the path of the Yellow trail and departs from it to the left, a few meters before “Sveti Sedmochislenici” fountain. The trail connects with the Red trail and follows it to the place “Bejanata”, where it turns right and goes down the villa-zone “Panorama”. Through the villa-zone it reaches the “Panorama” bus-stop of bus line 9 to Varna.
Orange trail
Route: Aladzha Monastery Fountain - “Aladzha” hut - T intersection - “Akademik” tourist base.
Duration: 40 min
The orange route starts at Aladzha Monastery, goes along the “Aladzha” Hut to the T intersection (connecting Varna to Golden Sands and Aladzha monastery) and finishes at “Akademik” tourist base. This is the shortest trail in the park.
