"Discover Bulgaria - 100 national tourist sites" is a Bulgarian national tourist movement, which aims to encourage tourists to get acquainted with some of the most significant tourist sites in Bulgaria.
Five of them are located on the territory of Varna and preserve the unique wealth of the historical memory of Bulgaria:
Visiting the sites is certified by placing an unique stamp of the respective object on a designated place in a tourist booklet, which can be purchased from the Bulgarian Tourist Union (BTS), from BTS Information Center, the tourist companies in the country, as well as from almost all tourist sites, included in the movement.
There are also awards for the most active tourists. The National Organizing Committee (NOC) at the BTU awards a bronze, silver and gold badge, when the tourists collect 25, 50 and 100 stamps for visiting respectively 25, 50 and 100 sites. All badge holders have the right to participate in an annual raffle with prizes, excursions, trips abroad and other.
"Discover Bulgaria - 100 national tourist sites" is a movement in which can participate not only Bulgarian citizens, but also everyone who is interested in the cultural and natural wealth of Bulgaria.
