Varna State Opera Ballet

The Varna State Opera presents a new original ballet production created by Chief Choreographer Sergey Bobrov. "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" follows the classic Brothers Grimm fairy tale—a story interpreted in numerous films, most notably Disney’s animated and live-action versions.
Bobrov has selected excerpts from the works of three composers: Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, and Pugni. The production features movements from their symphonies and concertos. The choreography blends classical and neoclassical elements, while the staging reflects the fairy-tale style of 19th-century ballets. Anna Nezhnaya’s set design, costumes, and projection mapping immerse the audience in a magical forest atmosphere, complete with deer, rabbits, doves, and other woodland creatures.
