Spring in Varna

Spring in Varna comes with gentle sea breeze, blossoming alleys and a feeling of a new beginning. Easter holidays are the perfect opportunity to combine the festive atmosphere with a short holiday by the sea.

The Todorovden horse competitions are held annually and are a beloved and much anticipated celebration for the citizens and guests of Varna. 

From late March to mid-May, carob trees and Japanese cherry trees bloom across Varna, creating beautiful sights throughout the city, especially along the pathways of the Sea Garden.

Each spring, Varna bursts into colour as over 80,000 tulips bloom in the University Botanical Garden and the Sea Garden, creating vibrant floral displays and a must-see experience.  

Spring Days of Artin Varna is an annual cultural event offering diverse programme of events, including classical and folk music concerts, exhibitions of painting and photography.
