The beach with a length of over 2 km stretches below the „Priboy“ area, after the „Galata“ district. Fichoza Beach is naturally limited by rocks and boulders. To the north it borders with Galata beach, and to the south with Chernomorets beach without a direct connection between them.
The beach attracts with clear waters, places for diving, secluded places between the rocks, as well as with a wide beach with restaurants and drinks, and a wonderful sea view. There is something for every taste.
The beach can be divided conditionally into two zones - Veteran in the north and Fichoza in the South. Each one of these areas has its advantages.
The sea on Veteran beach has shallow waters, which is due to underwater rocks and stones - a paradise for divers, and the sand hides various sea treasures for collectors - pebbles, shells of large sea snails, as well as mussel shells.
The southern zone has a wide strip, flat bottom, but the sea waters are deeper. Due to the high shore with dense forest vegetation, shade falls in the afternoon and provides additional fresh coolness. You can also enjoy a concert of interesting kind of insects, hidden in the trees, which spread characteristic sounds.
It is easy to reach the beach by car, as the road descends to Veteran beach along almost the whole sand strip. You can park along the road, as there are no designated parking spaces, and the beach is only a few steps away. There are no conditions for access of people with disabilities.
If you use public transport (bus line 60), moving to Fichoza Beach is a little bit complicated. From the bus stops along the road Galalata - Rakitnika, the path, leading to the beach is over 2 km long. In this case, you have two possibilities: you should walk either through the forest with a cross-country in the exurb, or along the road leading to the beach, or bus stop "Veteran".
There are also separate hiking trails, the marking of which starts from Galata.
