Trakata Beach is a picturesque place, located almost within the city, in the shape of a bay with a coastline of approximately 200 m. It borders a small forest, shallow, calm waters and a small bay, which forms a tiny fishing port.
The quiet beach with a small number of parking places can be reached easily by asphalt road, just by turning on the right from the main road Varna - Golden Sands.
On foot, the passage from the nearest public transport bus stop (bus lines 9, 31a, 209b, 409, bus stop "Trakata") is not more than 10-15 min.
Beach accessories are not provided on this place, and in oder to reach the sand you should walk down a couple of stairs, which makes it unsuitable for people with disabilities.
Many of the holidaymakers here are practicing diving, and nearby restaurants offer the opportunity to relax in the breeze and to enjoy the view of fishing boats and ships.
