Largo Art Gallery was founded on the 27th of November 2008 in Varna, Bulgaria. The gallery presents contemporary art and works of art of artists from around the country. One of the gallery’s missions is to contribute in promoting the names and arts of Bulgarian artists and to be able to touch with their works as many people’s hearts as possible.
Largo Art Gallery’s is situated in the very heart of the city - the so called “Greek neighborhood” - one of the most artistic and most prestigious areas of Varna. The gallery is located a few meters from the Roman Thermae and in a 5 minute walking distance from the Sea Garden and the city center. The gallery is spread over 155 square meters, including two large halls on the ground floor and the lower floor, office and depot. The ground floor is a place where temporary exhibitions are displayed where the daylight helps the works of art to be seen even from the street through the big showcases. The lower floor is where permanent exhibition of works from the collection of the gallery are displayed.
