“Swan Lake” is one of the most enchanting and refined masterpieces of world art and the most famous ballet in the world. Through the genius of his music, Tchaikovsky reveals the tragic incompatibility between a mortal man and a fairy-a being belonging to the spiritual world of nature, a realm both captivating but alien and dangerous to humans.

In his production, choreographer Sergei Bobrov strives not merely to return formally to the original score, orchestration, libretto, and choreographic elements, but above all to preserve the authentic meaning of the ballet’s musical dramaturgy.
