The actress Albena Stavreva unfolds her talents not only as an actress but also as a playwright and director, to create a world where a tiny matchbox holds not only a childhood, but an entire universe. Her one-woman show In the Dark leads us along the edge—of reason, of the world, of memory.
Touching and deeply human, the performance guides us through a solitary yet extraordinarily rich inner existence. Memories, visions, and unconditional love intertwine in a narrative that reminds us that sometimes, unknowing is not a lack of knowledge, but a form of wisdom.
With English subtitles.
