15 October - 8 November 2026
Festival and Congress Centre - Varna
CineLibri 2026 will take place in Varna from 15 October to 8 November. This extraordinary “cinematic spectacle” will feature three premiere films from the Berlinale programme, ten films presented at Cannes, and five titles each from Venice and Toronto, alongside more than fifteen acclaimed European and international filmmakers and artists, including Oscar winners and recipients of other prestigious awards, ready to embark on the adventure of a lifetime.
Preparations are also well underway for three international competitions: one for the most compelling feature-film adaptation of a literary work, one for a short film inspired by a book, and one for a documentary dedicated to a distinguished writer.
The festival’s parallel programme will traditionally feature a wide range of accompanying events, including discussions, literary premieres, celebrations and themed events, gala evenings dedicated to European cultures, book signings, and engaging events for children and teenagers.
