The “Tyulena” Rotunda is a viewpoint overlooking Varna Bay. It is the only preserved part of the former panoramic area known as “Trakata.”
The “Seal” Rotunda offers stunning views over Varna Bay and is the only remaining part of the historic panoramic area known as “Trakata.” Nearby, visitors can see a monument dedicated to the monk seal, located along the pathway leading to the Trakata area on the main road to the Euxinograd Residence.
When the main road to the resorts near Varna was built, the arch and monument were already standing. The stone seating alcove and monument reflect the classic mid-20th-century style of Russian Black Sea resorts. In the past, this spot was a favorite gathering place for visitors.
Today, you can still visit and capture breathtaking views of Varna and Varna Bay.
