"The Walk" sculpture was created by the sculptor Veselin Kostadinov. It is situated on “Knyaz Boris I” near “Svyat” square - a favourite place for guests and citizens of Varna to meet.
The idea for the sculpture comes from the sculptor's personal observations of the life of this particular street. According to the artist the street brings unique atmosphere with its beautiful architectural examples together with all the people there walking, waiting, observing, being in a hurry for somewhere, shopping...
Searching the symbols of this boulevard Veselin Kostadinov creates the figure of a young woman who is in a hurry to meet or for a walk.
The sculpture was placed in the spring of 2017. It is 2.20m high woman made of brass and stained glass.
