On streets, squares, and parking lots that are municipal property, in specially designated areas, the paid parking system "Blue Zone" operates from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (excluding official holidays and non-working days).

Methods of payment for parking by the hour:
- Parking via the "Mpark" mobile application - "Virtual parking meter"
From a personal smartphone or another device with internet access and an individual prepaid account. The vehicle registration number must be entered exactly as shown on the license plate (Cyrillic/Latin, up to 10 characters).
- Selection of parking duration: from 30 minutes to 5 hours, plus a full-day option (available only via the app);
- The central system sends a warning notification approximately 5 minutes before expiration;
- You may extend your parking before the current paid period ends; the maximum parking duration is 5 consecutive hours. A new 5-hour period is possible 30 minutes after the previous one ends;
- Full-day parking is valid from the moment the confirmation message is received until the end of the working day;
- Payment is considered successful upon receiving a confirmation message;
- You must wait for the payment processing result before making another parking request (from the same or another payment channel, as well as from a different phone number if paying by SMS, or from a commercial point of sale).
- When paying after midnight but before the start of working hours, the system registers “deferred” parking starting from the zone’s opening time;
- Numbers and the wallet are synchronized automatically.
Online payment for wheel-clamp removal
The "MPark" app offers an option for clamp removal; after payment, a request for removing the clamp is automatically submitted. The driver’s presence is not required.
Download the app for Android or iOS, register, and load your virtual wallet.
Send an SMS to number 1353 with the text being the vehicle’s registration number (exactly as it appears on the license plate; Cyrillic/Latin, up to 10 characters).
Example:
If the license plate of the vehicle is: В1234АВ
В1234АВ – correct
V1234AV – incorrect
Б1234AБ – incorrect
1 SMS = 1 hour of parking; the cost includes the hourly parking fee plus the SMS charge
- Payment is considered successful upon receiving a confirmation message
- A warning message is sent approximately 5 minutes before expiration
- You may send additional SMS messages (after receiving confirmation for the previous one) maximum 5 consecutive hours, with a new period possible 30 minutes after the previous one ends
- You must wait for the payment processing result before making another parking request (from another phone number if paying by SMS, or through another payment channel such as the "MPark" app or a point of sale)
- If an SMS is sent after midnight but before the beginning of working hours, the system registers "deferred" parking starting from the opening hour.
- Cash payment - "Public Virtual Parking Meter"

Short-term parking in the "Green Zone" - 1 BGN / 0.51 € per hour, VAT incl.
Via the "Virtual Parking Meter" - 0.50 BGN / 0.26 € for 30 minutes, VAT incl.
Full-day parking (available through the app only) - 16 BGN / 8.18 €, VAT incl.
