Chayka Resort is located 10 km north of Varna in the area, demarcated between the resorts "Golden Sands" and „St.St. Constantine and Helena". There are many hotels, restaurants and attractions on its territory.
"Chayka" is an ecological and quiet complex, with some of the most popular beaches, with clear waters and flat sandy sea bed, and here are located two of the most famous beaches around Varna, namely "Chaika" and "Kabakum". Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", the International House of Journalists, the Specialized Hospital for Rehabilitation "Thermal" and the sports complex "NSB Sportpalace" are situated on the territory of the resort Chayka.
In this area there are many shops, fast food restaurants, villas, small hotels and all the amenities for a vacation by the sea. For guest's convenience and for faster access to the beach, a special
infrastructure has been built - a chair lift from the hotels “Bona Vita” and “Argisht Palace” to the Kabakum Beach and back. During the trip with the lift a beautiful panoramic view of Varna Bay and Cape Kaliakra is revealed, which makes it an unforgettable experience. The facility has 125 seats and the length of the route is 1150 m, which takes about 6-7 minutes. The price of a one-way
ticket is BGN 2. During the summer season the lift is open every day from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm.
There is a regular year-round bus line - № 409, which connects Varna Airport with the city center and the resorts "St.St. Constantine and Helena”, “Chayka” and “Golden Sands”.
