Amorpha Youth Foundation and Amorpha Academy for Young Ambassadors of Culture, Europe-Asia Edition: Books, Cultural Diplomacy, Cinema of East and Southeast Asia, present: Solo Exhibition "Middle-Aged Men around the World" by Hiroko ODA.

Hiroko ODA, whose creative name is Hiro, is a Japanese manga artist and illustrator. Participated as a guest speaker together with other artists in a lecture presenting the main and distinctive features of Japanese comics, manga, in the first part of the "Amorpha Academy for Young Cultural Ambassadors", Europe-Asia edition, in the spring of 2024. ODA-san's creative portfolio reveals an unusually strong interest in world cultures. In her work as a visual artist, as well as in her curious cultural initiatives, people and their culinary traditions play a converging role. The artist has already visited 25 countries herself, where she meets different people and their families, learn from them and cook together with them. On her return to native Japan, she organizes culinary workshops and demonstrations with favorite recipes from different parts of the world, which she have learned from her foreign friends.

The event is an opening initiative of the second part of the "Amorpha Academy for Young Ambassadors of Culture", Europe-Asia Edition: Books, Cultural Diplomacy, Cinema of East and Southeast Asia. The academy is dedicated to the encounter with the cultures of the region and the creation of cultural content by the young participants. It is carried out with the assistance of the National Culture Fund.
