The "Assumption of the Mother of God" Cathedral

The "Assumption of the Mother of God" Cathedral

Located in the heart of Varna The Cathedral has become one of the landmarks of the city.  Situated on “St. Cyril and St. Methodius” square in the very center it is a top sight of The Sea capital.

The church "St. Athanasius" is situated near the Roman Thermal Baths in Varna.
 Church "St. Nicholas the Thaumaturge"

Church "St. Nicholas the Thaumaturge"

The temple was built with the donation of the Russian citizen Paraskeva Nicolau (Nikolaev) native of Varna. According to his will, he determines the amount of 50,000 rubles and at his request the church received the name Church of St. Nicholas.
 Orthodox Church "Sveta Petka"

Orthodox Church "Sveta Petka"

The building of Sveta Paraskeva Petka church, known to the citizens of Varna as Sveta Petka, started in 1901. In contrast to most of the other churches in Varna, Sveta Petka had not been destroyed in its past days. Its walls were icon-painted in 1973

On 14th of February 2021, when the church commemorates the Assumption of St. Constantine Cyril the Philosopher, the new "St. Procopius of Varna” church was consecrated.

According to historical data this church was built in 1602. During its construction, it was discovered that an earlier temple had once stood on the same site.

The Armenian Church is located in the central part of Varna, near "Ekzarh Yosif" square ("Shishkova Garden").

The church was built in 1890 after the design of the Italian architect Valentino Dell Antonio.

The Catholic chapel of St. Archangel Michael is an active prayer house of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Parish.
The Azazie Mosque

The Azazie Mosque

The Azazie mosque is settled in the nowadays “Angel Georgiev” street. There is no information about the date of its cosntruction. According to some information the mosque was built in 1795.
Hayrie mosque

Hayrie mosque

Hayrie mosque is situated in the oldest part of Varna town - at the corner of “Dunav” and “Tsaribrod” streets. It was built in 1835.
